Production Logging Telemetry

The Production Logging Telemetry Control Unit (TCU) manages communication between the downhole logging tools and the surface system. It collects data from the tools below and packages it for transmission via the wireline uplink.

A fast downlink receives surface commands for real-time control of the tool string. The module also houses the main downhole power supply, providing power to the connected logging tools.

Automatic tool identification and polling-loop generation organise data collection, while CRC-protected inter-tool messages support data integrity.
