Acoustic logging tool for locating downhole leaks and evaluating fluid movement behind multiple pipe barriers.
The Array Acoustic Leak/Flow Analyzer Tool detects downhole sound sources to locate leaks and evaluate fluid movement, including behind multiple pipe barriers. It supports investigation of sustained casing pressure, flow zones and channelling behind pipe.
An array of wide-band acoustic sensors combines differential measurements with propagation-direction processing to distinguish weak fluid movement sounds from noise caused by tool movement. Machine learning algorithms help locate sound sources and their propagation paths.
Continuous recording allows measurements while moving upwards or downwards through the wellbore, improving acquisition efficiency.
