Non-explosive plasma cutter for coiled tubing, tubing and casing, with an optional electromechanical anchor for unbalanced tubing and annulus pressures.
The Plasma Torch Cutter provides a non-explosive method of cutting stuck pipe during pipe recovery operations. A range of tool sizes accommodates coiled tubing, tubing and casing, with pressure and temperature ratings up to 15,000 psi and 204°C.
The cutter has no moving parts in its cutting mechanism. An optional electromechanical anchor allows deployment where tubing and annulus pressures are not balanced.
