Radial Bond Technology

Radial Bond Technology delivers a full 360-degree evaluation of the cement sheath behind casing. Instead of a single averaged bond value, the tool resolves bond quality around the entire circumference, so a channel on one side of the pipe is seen for what it is.

The tool combines a conventional bond amplitude measurement with segmented azimuthal receivers, giving both the familiar log response and a map that shows exactly where isolation is achieved and where it is not.

Typical applications include verifying cement placement after primary cementing, evaluating remedial squeeze jobs, confirming barrier integrity before perforating, and documenting zonal isolation for abandonment approval.
