ID XTREME Bridgeplug

Permanent high-expansion bridgeplug designed to pass through narrow restrictions and provide isolation in larger-diameter pipe below.

The ID XTREME Bridgeplug provides permanent isolation below narrow restrictions. High-expansion anchors centralise and secure the plug in both directions, while an anti-extrusion system conforms to the pipe internal diameter to support the sealing element.

A reinforcing section retains the setting force in the element during temperature or pressure reversals. This supports long-term sealing, particularly in highly deviated or horizontal sections where cement placement is difficult.

Key features

  • High-expansion design for setting below restrictions

  • Bi-directional anchors for centralisation and anchoring

  • Anti-extrusion system supports the sealing element

  • Setting force retained during temperature or pressure reversals

  • HNBR, FKM or Aflas sealing elements available

  • Deployment on slickline, eSlickline or conventional e-line using the ID-SET longstroke setting tool

Applications

  • Permanent isolation in larger-diameter pipe below restrictions

  • Isolation in highly deviated or horizontal well sections

Operating considerations

The stated differential pressure rating is 10,000 psi at 275°F (135°C) at the middle of the setting range.

Placing cement on top of the plug supports sealing and increases service life.
