ID EXPAND Bridgeplug

High-expansion bridgeplug for rigless water shut-off and reservoir isolation where restrictions prevent access with conventional plugs.

The ID EXPAND Bridgeplug passes through small restrictions to provide isolation where conventional bridgeplugs cannot be placed. Available with running diameters of 1.75 or 2.125 inches, it can set in casing diameters up to 3½ times its running diameter.

Robust anchors and elastomeric seals provide immediate pressure isolation upon setting in casing. Cement is placed on top of the plug to ensure long-term zonal isolation.

Key features

  • High-expansion design for deployment through restrictions

  • Deployment on e-line, coiled tubing or jointed tubing

  • Immediate pressure isolation upon setting in casing

  • Robust anchoring system and elastomeric seals

  • Drillable construction

  • Permanent or releasable versions available

  • Versions available for sweet and sour service

Applications

  • Rigless water shut-off

  • Reservoir isolation

  • Setting in cased hole, perforated casing intervals and gravel packs

  • Open-hole setting within application limits

Operating considerations

Differential pressure capability depends on plug size and setting diameter. The datasheet values apply without cement at 250°F, at the middle of the specified casing internal diameter range.

Crossflow limits depend on plug size and flow direction. Contact our team for applications with bottom-to-top crossflow.
