Non-explosive dump bailer combining piston-driven discharge and gravity for cement placement in deviated wells.
The ID CEM Hybrid Dump Bailer combines piston-driven discharge with gravity to place cement at the required depth, including in wells deviated up to 75°.
Electrical activation releases a piston that impacts and accelerates the cement slurry. This opens the bottom shear-out valve and discharges the cement using the momentum generated by the piston.
The system is powered from surface via wireline or from a downhole slickline power supply. Multiple bailer tubes can be used with one actuator, with a short turnaround between runs.
