W-Retrievable Bridgeplug

The W-Retrievable Bridgeplug isolates the wellbore during fracturing, acidising, wellhead maintenance or temporary suspension of a producing formation.

Wireline setting allows depth correlation for accurate placement. In highly deviated wells, the plug can be deployed on coiled tubing or jointed tubing using a hydraulic setting tool fitted with a Baker E-4-style bottom adapter.

Retrieval uses the W-Retrieving Head on tubing, coiled tubing or, in some cases, slickline. The plug releases by applying set-down force followed by upward tension, with no rotation required.

Operating considerations

Pressure limits depend on plug size and the direction of the applied pressure. Refer to the datasheet for the limits from above and below for the selected configuration.
