Radial Bond Cement Imaging

Cement bond evaluation combining 360° radial mapping, cement bond amplitude and Variable Density Log measurements to assess bonding to casing and formation.

Radial Bond Cement Imaging evaluates cement bond quality to casing and formation. An eight-segment radial receiver provides a 360° cement map to assess variations in bonding around the casing.

The tool also records conventional Cement Bond Log (CBL) amplitude and a Variable Density Log (VDL). Sonic data is captured and stored digitally before transmission to surface.

Integrated gamma ray, casing collar locator and temperature sensors provide additional measurements in the same run. The receiver housing provides strength and noise isolation, allowing logging in highly deviated sections.
